Our Story
For the Greeks, every meal is cause for celebration - an opportunity to set a table, drink ouzo, spend time with family and friends, forget about everything and enjoy life.
This magical way of life was brought to Greco by Tzviki Eshet, who has been having a decades-long love affair with Greece - its landscape, its people and its food. Along with chef Eliav Goldenberg, whom he infected with his love of Greece, they embarked on expeditions in Greece, touring the land far and wide, tasted everything, drank a lot of ouzo, met cooks and chefs and learned their secrets.
At Greco, we serve authentic Greek cuisine, with a menu featuring authentic recipes tasted and learned in Greece, and perfectly adapted to the Israeli kitchen. Our menus contain everything you need to enjoy good food, as only the Greeks know, with lots of olive oil, feta cheese and oregano. The sun and the sea, the islands and the land, the small villages and busy and vibrant Athens, and above all, the Greeks’ joy of life - are all there at Greco, the Greek restaurant.
